The D.C. Metro
The D.C Metro allows quick movement throughout the city. In order to use the metro you must have a SmarTrip card (Reloadable plastic cards). These can be bought at any metro station or online at wmata.com. Fare during peak hours may range from $2.25 to $6.00 per trip. During non-peak hours fare typically ranges from $1.85 to $3.85.
Uber
Uber services the entire D.C. area and beyond, offering rides throughout the city. Uber charges a base rate, plus an amount per minute and per mile. The amount varies based on which Uber vehicle you use. Uber charges either a $5 or $10 cancellation fee, based on the size of the vehicle. Some rides also charge a service fee. Prices subject to change.

Lyft
Lyft offers roughly the same service as Uber, for the same price. Options include the standard Lyft (Seats 3), Lyft XL (Seats 6), and Lux (Seats 4). Prices are competitive with Uber, and are subject to change along with Uber's pricing.
Pedicab
Pedicab offers 3 different tiers of fees based on the occupancy in each Pedicab. Standard fees below are for small group tours, and prices are subject to vary for groups of seven or more guests. Prices subject to increase at the beginning of the year.
- One Adult: $84/h
- Two Adults: $94/h
- Three adults: $105/h
D.C. Pedicab charges on a per hour basis starting at your reservation time. After first hour, fees are based on every 1/4 of an hour.
